MUSEUM MONDAY

Sometimes we use items from the galleries in other activities like school programs. These hearty, lightweight but strong blocks are the perfect addition to some math fun!

In Math Mission and Made-to Measure, two of our math school programs, Tumble Zone blocks take centre stage as students use them to practice several math learning outcomes. Using these colourful blocks, students practice measurement, estimation, accuracy, skip counting, and more!

Watch today’s fun fact here!

Earth Day 2023

Become a Climate Hero with us this Earth Day! Join us on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 11:00AM – 3:00PM to participate in eco-friendly activities and learn about how we can protect the Earth.

Recycle Everywhere will walk us through Mini Waste Audits and provide some fun colouring activities. Green Action Centre will teach us all about vermicomposting, along with Mise En Scene who will be rocking out from 11:00AM – 12:00PM with a live musical performance. Experiment with wind power using our giant wind turbines, create your own special Earth mosaic craft to show how important it is to care about our planet, and become a Home Hero by identifying actions you can take at home to conserve energy!
