Get to know red pandas at the Assiniboine Park Zoo’s annual Red Panda Weekend, September 18 and 19, held in support of the Red Panda Network.

Red pandas are fascinating creatures. Learn more about them by taking part in engaging activities that will teach you about this species, how climate change and habitat loss is affecting wild populations, and steps we can all take to help them in the wild. Activities include a balancing station, craft, photo station and more! Donations will be accepted on site for the Red Panda Network. Learn more.

Inspired by the original attraction, the new Aunt Sally’s Farm, on now at the Assiniboine Park Zoo, encourages play, reflects modern standards for animal welfare and care, and inspires the same awe and wonder as the original Aunt Sally’s Farm exhibit. One of the Zoo’s most beloved attractions, the original Aunt Sally’s Farm opened in the summer of 1959. Time and time again, Zoo visitors have shared their stories and memories of this charming exhibit. Learn more.

The new Aunt Sally’s Farm features:

  • Parallel playgrounds where the Zoo’s youngest visitors can play alongside lively goats,
  • Bridges with rainbow platforms that encourage goats to climb overhead, and
  • The wishing well from the original Aunt Sally’s Farm!
