The Snowman, the animated holiday favourite about a little boy who goes on a magical journey with his snowman, and The Hockey Sweater, the iconic Canadian Roch Carrier story about a boy forced to wear a Toronto Maple Leafs sweater in his hockey-mad Quebec town, both come to life in this perfect winter show with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra on December 5. MTYP’s Midwinter Mosey (pictured) revisits three of MTYP’s best-loved holiday shows while audience members embark on a wintry walk. You and your loved ones will experience some of the most magical moments from A Charlie Brown Double Bill, The House at Pooh Corner, and A Year with Frog and Toad, all wrapped up in one heart-warming show. Scarves, toques, and mittens are encouraged as you and your loved ones promenade to different stations around MTYP’s facility and walk outdoors together through a winter wonderland. The performance will close with a final promenade inside. MTYP’s Winter Wonderland runs from December 10 to 26. Learn more and get tickets.
