- Saturday, March 23, 2024: Spring BREAK
We’re kicking off our Spring Break Line-Up with some creative movement to really get us into the Spring BREAK spirit! Local break dancer Majo will join us from 11:30AM – 2:15PM to lead some breakdancing workshops, so be sure to bring your energy and your dancing shoes!
- Sunday, March 24, 2024: Calm Bodies, Peaceful Minds
Slow down, relax, and breathe with us as we calm our bodies and our minds. From 11:00AM – 3:00PM, yoga instructor Laura Kolisnyk will coach us through some yoga to help us unwind and loosen up, and we’ll also be exploring other ways that we can learn to stay calm and peaceful.
- Monday, March 25, 2024: Flexible Friends
Join us for a day of flexibility, friendship, and fun with GymKyds! These gymnastic experts will be onsite from 11:00AM – 3:00PM to demonstrate ways we can keep our bodies loose and limber.
- Tuesday, March 26, 2024: Happy & Healthy
Have you ever wondered what makes you sick? WISE Kid-Netic Energy will join us from 11:15AM – 2:00PM to explain all about it. Make sure to wash your hands and join us for an exploration of germs and ways to stay happy and healthy!
- Wednesday, March 27, 2024: Curious Imaginations & Franco-Fun Day
Bring your imagination and creativity and join us for a day where we’ll be exploring emotions, movement, and play! From 11:00AM – 3:00PM, Manitoba Theatre for Young People will lead visitors in some drama games, and we’ll provide some hands-on activities designed to help us get more in touch with our creative brains.

Wednesday, March 27 is also Franco-Fun Day at the Children’s Museum! Fédération des parents de la Francophonie Manitobaine will be onsite hosting exciting games and activities from 11:00AM – 1:00PM that you won’t want to miss, and we’ll also be sharing special French story times at 12:00PM and 2:00PM. See you there!
- Thursday, March 28, 2024: Connecting With Nature
Get ready to explore the beauty of nature and how we fit in with our environment! From 11:00AM – 3:00PM, Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society will lead us in nature journaling, and we’ll also create some beautiful art inspired by nature.
- Friday, March 29, 2024: Friday Funday
Having fun is good for you, and we have lots of fun, bouncy surprises in store for you on this special day of our Spring Break Line-Up. You won’t want to miss it!
- Saturday, March 30, 2024: Let’s Get Moving
Movement is good for our bodies and minds – especially when it’s fun! Join us from 11:00AM – 3:00PM as Fit Kids Healthy Kids with Sport Manitoba showcases some exciting physical activity that visitors can take part in.
- Sunday, March 31, 2024: Empathy Explorations
All week long, we’ve been exploring ways to strengthen our minds and boost our bodies, but it’s also important to help others as well. Join us as we welcome Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre from 11:00AM – 3:00PM for our final day of Spring Break and discover ways that we can care for one another and the animals around us.
