Mini Mondays

Our youngest visitors are VIPs on Mondays!

Mondays at the Children’s Museum are very special days. From September – April, join us on Mondays from 10:00AM – 2:00PM for a fun-filled day of stimulating play designed for our youngest visitors, children under 4 years old! We provide tailored crafts to help develop fine motor skills, activities that aid in dramatic play, and/or a special story time at 11:00AM and 1:00PM.

Please see our COVID-19 Guidelines for further details and important information prior to your next visit.

October Activities

Theme: Spooky Season

We start the month off by brewing up some witch accessories that help children define their fine motor skills. Next, we create some ghost poppers that help your child develop their hand-eye coordination! It wouldn’t be Fall without some pumpkins, so come join us as your child crafts up their own jack-o-lantern face. We end the month off on Halloween Day! We invite your child to come join us in their Halloween costume* and make their very own pet monster to take home with them. (*For the safety and security of all guests, if you or your child’s costume includes a toy weapon or a mask, we respectfully ask that you leave those items at home.)

  • October 3: Witches’ Broomsticks
  • October 10: N/A**
  • October 17: Ghost Poppers
  • October 24: Jack-O-Lantern Faces

**Note: There will be no Mini Monday programming on Monday, October 10 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

November Activities

Theme: Winter Wonderland

Come join us for the month of November as we explore the wonders of winter together. We will create winter trees and learn about the four seasons. Next, we will practice our painting skills with snow forks and investigate our senses with a snow sensory table! Your child will use their imaginations as they create snow creatures and ask, “do you want to build a snowman?” Let’s practice getting dressed for winter as we end the month by designing winter hats and playing with paper dolls.

  • November 14: Snow Forks
  • November 21: Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?
