Kids Festival Of The Arts

Time for summer fun at the museum! Join us from August 14-17 for this year’s Kids Festival Of The Arts, featuring daily workshops, performances, and experiences that immerse children in art and culture. Through various hands-on activities, the festival will highlight visual arts, music, drama, and dance. Join us daily from 11:00AM to 3:00PM at our free outdoor events station!
Daily Line-Up
- August 14 – Design your own take-home instrument with musician and artist Jesse Krause
- August 15 – Explore and experiment with different instruments at School of Rock’s Instrument Petting Zoo
- August 16 – Create your own take-home chain stitch bracelet with Terri Ledbetter of RosePop Fibre Arts
- August 17 – Get your groove on in a drop-in dance workshop facilitated by Masterworks Dance Studio. Join us for a special dance presentation at 11:30AM!
