Spring & Summer Day Camps

Spring & Summer Day Camp

The Children’s Museum offers fun-filled day camps that get kids’ minds and bodies moving during spring and summer breaks. Our Day Camps are a great, safe place for kids to spend their holidays.

Museum campers will create, discover, learn, and meet new friends as they explore exciting themes related to our galleries and special travelling exhibitions. Grouped with others of a similar age, campers will enjoy stimulating, age-appropriate activities all day long. With indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts, time in the galleries, special guests, and a field trip (in summer camps), your children are sure to have a memorable week full of adventure!

Please Note:

  • Our Spring Break Day Camp activities are suitable for children in Kindergarten through Grade 4 in the 2018-2019 School Year.

Campers can join us for five days of fun including time in the galleries, our special Spring Break Line-Up activities, games, crafts, and more. Our action-packed week has a different theme every day!

  • March 25: Stuck On Art
    (Focus on the Arts)
Campers start the week with oodles of colour and magnificent music! They’ll celebrate everything that makes them smile as we create our own tear-away splatter paintings. Later, campers create their own playfully patterned rain stick and keep the music going all day long.
  • March 26: Taped-Up Travels
    (Focus on Social Studies)
We’ll stick together on this fabulous world tour! Campers become world travellers as they create their own hot air balloon to take them on amazing adventures. Campers will design a personalized postcard to show their friends where they’ve been!
  • March 27: The Sticky World Of Science
    (Focus on Science and Mathematics)
Campers get to let their curiosity bubble as they become scientists for the day! We’ll be putting on our thinking caps and putting our taping skills to the test as we create our own tape-tastic flying machines! Join our special guests from Canada Learning Code as we work together for a rocking afternoon of robot-filled fun!
Note: Due to circumstances beyond our control, the programming for this day will not be available as planned. Please stay tuned for revised programming information to be posted soon.

  • March 28: Packed With Play
    (Focus on Physical Education)
Get ready to move with a day filled with games and activities! Campers are transformed into teams of architects they create and play in our own themed Day Camp bowling lanes! The day will also be packed with fun times spent in the museum galleries.
  • March 29: Duct, Duct, Goose
    (Focus on Living Things)
Can you waddle like a penguin? Hop like a frog? Campers end our Spring Break with frolicking animal fun! Follow our wacky lines of tape as campers impersonate our fun animal friends. Later, they’ll create a wiggly washi octopus pal to bring home!
