Step right up and join us all summer long for hands-on programming inspired by the thrill of the big top! Enjoy circus-themed amusements at various locations throughout the museum, taking place daily from 11:00AM – 3:00PM – including carnival games, dazzling crafts, a search for clowns, and so much more.

Stop by our fundraising Cotton Candy Station on Fridays from 11:00AM – 3:00PM to purchase a sweet treat during your visit.

July 2 – 7: Crafty Cotton Candy
A circus isn’t complete without the fluffy magic of cotton candy – and now you can create your own colourful, non-edible masterpieces with us! Get ready for fun, creativity, and imagination with every twirl and swirl.
July 8 – 14: Thrilling Trapeze Artists
Create your very own high-flying acrobats and watch them soar through the air with the greatest of ease. Unleash your creativity and bring the magic of the circus to life, one paper trapeze artist at a time!
July 15 – 21: Fun Fair Frenzy
Get ready for some friendly competition as you practice your skills in our fun fair games. Corn hole, ring toss, and toppling clowns will bring a whole lot of laughter and excitement, along with a whirlwind of fun!
July 22 – 28: Runaway Circus
The clowns were on their way to the Children’s Museum, but oh no… they all got lost! Now, we need your help to find them in our Runaway Circus Scavenger Hunt. Grab your friends, follow the clues, and let’s bring those silly clowns back to the big top!
July 29 – August 4: Super Silly STEM Stilts
Step right up, young engineers and join us as we introduce Super Silly STEM Stilts! Use colourful geometric shapes to build your very own circus characters and place them on stilts. How high can you stack them before they topple? The higher you go, the more exciting it gets – it’s a thrilling blend of creativity, balance, and fun!
August 5 – August 11: Bubble Bonanza Extravaganza!
Join us for a Bubble Bonanza Extravaganza, where you can blow the most magical, glitter-filled, and colourful bubbles you’ve ever seen. Watch as your bubbles float and dance through the air, creating a mesmerizing spectacle of colours and sparkles.
August 12 – August 18: Fun Fair Frenzy

August 19 – August 25: Build-A-Clown
Visit our Build-A-Clown station to create your very own whimsical yarn clown doll to bring home and cherish. With colourful yarn and a whole lot of giggles, you’ll make a new silly friend and unforgettable memories clowning around together!
August 26 – September 1: Super Carnival Course
Hop, balance, and race through our spectacular obstacle course designed for ultimate fun. Test your skills, conquer the obstacles, and see if you can make it to the finish line for big applause!
