Book Drive in support of the Children’s Museum

The Children’s Museum wants to find your used books and media items a new home!
We’re looking for donations of gently-used items for the I Love To Read Month Used Book Sale in support of the Children’s Museum’s work with children and families in our community.
Donation Information
Please help us with the sorting process!
The following is a list of child- and family-friendly gently-used items we are able to accept:
- Fiction and non-fiction books
- Magazines
- CDs
- Movies on VHS, DVD, and Blu-ray
We regret that we are unable to accept the following items:
- Encyclopedias
- Textbooks
- Manuals of any kind
- Reader’s Digest and/or National Geographic Magazines
- Former library books
- Media equipment (VCRs, DVD/Blu-ray players, televisions, computers, or gaming systems)
- Items with torn covers, broken spines, and/or missing pages
How To Make A Donation
Donations of eligible items can be dropped off at the Children’s Museum Admissions Desk during regular hours of operation.
HEAVY DONATION? If you need a hand carrying in your donation, we’re happy to help! Simply park in the loading zone in front of the Children’s Museum and contact an Admissions Attendant during regular museum hours at 204.924.4000 and they will collect your name, vehicle make/model, and license plate number then send someone out to assist you.
