LOVE LOCAL: SPARK CREATIVE LEARNING WITH THESE CANADIAN MUSEUMS

(Source: royalbcmuseum.bc.ca)

These wonderful Canadian museums have great online resources available to keep the whole family learning this summer.

Join the Royal BC Museum for RBCM@home for online playdates every Wednesday! This week’s session is all about book illustrations and how these drawings help make stories into the tales that we know and love. To watch previous playdates, check out their YouTube page.

The Royal Saskatchewan Museum has a variety of teachings, storytimes, virtual tours, and activities available on their website. Covering everything from Indigenous Studies to dino facts, there is sure to be a topic for everyone to enjoy.

Put your creative side to the test with this 60-second paint like a pro video tutorial from the Art Gallery of Ontario. Learn the basics of painting as you make your own beautiful sunset painting.

Stay tuned for more resources to help spark kids’ creative learning!
