Grab the whole family and head into the kitchen for some fun snack recipes that you can all enjoy prepping and eating together!

  • Rainbow Skewers – Pull out the most colourful fruits and veggies you can find in your fridge and put them all onto a stick to make a yummy Rainbow Skewer! Think carrots, watermelon, grapes, strawberries, and kiwi – the possibilities are endless.
  • Baked Apple Chips – Simply slice up an apple and bake it in the oven – that’s all there is to it! Add some of your favourite seasonings like brown sugar or cinnamon for an extra little flair. What other kinds of foods can you make baked chips with? Pears? Bananas? Yams?
  • Apple Donuts – Thinly slice your apple into rings (or “donuts”), top each slice with your creamy base. This could be any type of nut butter, hummus, smashed bananas, yogurt or anything else you can think of! When it comes to toppings, let your imagination run wild – you can use things like fruit, seeds, chocolate chips, honey, and coconut shavings.
  • Cereal mix – Grab all the different types of cereals that you have in the kitchen and mix them all in one bowl together. You can add in extra things like seeds, mini marshmallows, or raisins to make this snack even more exciting!
