THURSDAY LITERACY RESOURCES
Get ready for more creative literacy resources to keep your minds moving while at-home!
StoryPlace is a FREE online library designed for preschoolers full of stories, activities, videos, and more! Explore their website and all it has to offer, or join in on daily virtual story times.
The Story Kitchen is a unique way to inspire little ones to write their own stories. You start off by selecting a hero, villain, and setting, and the beginning of the story will be created for you in a few short paragraphs. What happens after that is up to you – continue writing the story and see where your imagination takes you!
Freerice is a website run by the World Food Programme (WFP). Play the Freerice game and every time you answer a question correctly, you will trigger a financial donation that goes towards the WFP to purchase food baskets that then get delivered to countries in need. Practice your English vocabulary and grammar while supporting a good cause! There are also a variety of other categories where you can test your knowledge, such as geography, basic math, and anatomy.
Stay tuned for more resources to help spark kids’ creative learning!
