LOVE LOCAL: SPARK CREATIVE LEARNING WITH THESE CANADIAN PARTNERS

We’re here today to bring you another list of Canadian resources – recycling edition!

(Source: recycleeverywhere.ca)

Recycle Everywhere has come out with a game called Bin2Win that is not only super fun, but teaches little ones the importance of recycling as well as what can and cannot be recycled. Be sure to recycle the right stuff and you’ll be entered to win monthly prizes of $500! Downloads are available for both IOS and Android.

Check out the Recycle My Electronics Learning Hub for creative ways to teach your children about proper electronic recycling. You’ll find quizzes, videos, activity books, games, and more.

Use Simply Recycle’s lesson plans that have been developed for kids from grade 1 – grade 4. These plans are complete with downloadable worksheets and instructions. Enforce positive recycling behaviour at home as a family by using the Recyclepedia to find out what can and cannot be recycled and well as how to properly recycle it.

Stay tuned for more resources to help spark kids’ creative learning!
