LITERACY RESOURCES

Let’s jump into another week of literacy fun!

Join Penguin Random House Canada for virtual story times accessible through their social media pages and check out their extensive list of lesson guides, activity kits, and colouring pages here.

The Little series are free online books that provide children with an introduction to evolution and genetics. Check out Little Changes, Little Letters, and their learning resources.

For the older kids (ages 10 – 16), Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre has shared a free production of Macbeth that can be viewed on their YouTube channel. They also have additional resources that allow you to tour backstage, get to know the characters, and learn more about the language and context that was used.

Stay tuned for more resources to help spark kids’ creative learning!
