The Children’s Museum offers fun-filled day camps that get kids’ minds and bodies moving during spring and summer breaks. Our Day Camps are a great, safe place for kids to spend their holidays.
Museum campers will create, discover, learn, and meet new friends as they explore exciting themes related to our galleries. Grouped with others of a similar age, campers will enjoy stimulating, age-appropriate activities. With indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts, time in the galleries, special guests, and field trips, your children are sure to have a memorable week full of adventure!
Our Summer Day Camp activities are suitable for children entering Grade 1 through Grade 5 in the upcoming 2012-2013 School Year.
Day Camp Details
Dates: Tuesday, July 3 – Friday, August 31
Times: 9:00AM to 4:00PM Daily
(Early drop-off and late pick-up available)
Rates: $160/week, $130/short week
(*Children’s Museum Members save 10% on registration!)
Day Camp Themes
- Space Invasion
Week 1 (July 3-6)* and Week 6 (August 7-10)*
Experiment with science, dramatics and art related to outer space! (*short week)
- Adventures in Art
Week 2 (July 9-13) and Week 7 (August 13-17)
Create your masterpiece this week as we explore different art mediums. It’ll be a messy, fun, and creative experience as campers invent beautiful art.

- Weird Science
Week 3 (July 16-20) and Week 8 (August 20-24)
This will be an exciting week as campers conduct experiments – making things fizz, pop, and explode!

- Musical Mania
Week 4 (July 23-27) and Week 9 (August 27-31)
Do you love music? This week will be music to your ears as we explore different music and create our own sounds.

Week 5 (July 30-August 3)
Be active during this fun-filled week of games, sports, dance, and physical activity.
