Party Activities

  • Dino Hunt
    Recommended for children ages 4 to 9.
    The Dinosaur bones have gone missing again! We need a team that is willing to travel the deepest and darkest depths of the museum in hopes of reconstructing our lost dinosaur!
  • Treasure Hunt
    Recommended for children ages 4 to 9.
    Arrrrg – they’ve done it again! Pirates have stolen our treasure and buried it somewhere in the museum. We’ll need a group of adventurers with the courage to scavenge for clues to find our missing treasure.
  • Scream for Ice Cream
    Recommended for children ages 4 to 9.
    *Note: The Children’s Museum is able to accommodate a maximum of 12 children with this party theme.
    Screaming isn’t actually one of the ingredients, but energy is! Help make ice cream from scratch and after it’s finished, you get to eat it!
  • Monkey Business
    Recommended for children ages 1 to 9.
    No, these monkeys don’t organize files nor do they do taxes. They have fun, monkey amounts of fun. Loaded with rubber monkeys, we’re ready to swing into action with games of a simian sort!
  • Slime Time
    Recommended for children ages 2 to 9.
    In all its glory and grossness, we present SCIENCE! First we test what we can do with a gelatinous fluid! Then we try our own hands-on experiment that will simultaneously impress and gross out friends and family alike, we make slime!
  • Foam Friends
    Recommended for children ages 4 to 9.
    Create yourself a fun, new buddy! Give them a Styrofoam body and head, maybe some arms or legs? Lots of eyes, a few noses, whatever you want! Build until you can build no more!
  • Build-A-Boat
    Recommended for children ages 4 to 9.
    Sail the seven seas or even a puddle of water with your very own boat! Kids get to construct and then decorate a boat. After we’re done, we go for a test float to see if our boats will sail.
  • Crowning Around
    Recommended for children ages 1 to 9.
    Come on, get regal! Accessorize yourself with the finest of royal attire. Create crowns, bracelets or armlets for yourself and look like royalty.

Need Food?

Domino’s Pizza is pleased to offer a birthday deal on deliveries to the Children’s Museum! Order up to four 14” 2-topping pizzas for only $12 each. Order five or more pizzas for $10 each. Domino’s will also provide the birthday child with a special gift and a gift certificate for a free pizza to be used at home! Call the Domino’s Children’s Museum Hotline at 888.8888.

Party Checklist

  • Call the Children’s Museum at (204) 924-4004 or fill out an online Birthday Booking Request Form to make a reservation. Please have a tentative date and time ready.
  • Make arrangements for the deposit. We accept cash, cheque, debit, Visa or Mastercard.
  • Think of something that will make the kids identifiable. We suggest stickers to make it easier to find your guests in the galleries.
  • Ensure there is enough adult supervision for the kids attending the party. The museum requires a 1:5 adult to child ratio.

Party Policies

  • Parties are booked on a first come, first served basis.
  • There is a cancellation fee on all party packages. Due to demand, we require a 50% deposit to guarantee your booking. If you cancel your party within two weeks of your party date, your deposit is forfeited.
  • Deposit must be made within 48 hours of booking, or your tentative hold will be released.
  • The museum requires a minimum 1:5 adult to child ratio for party and gallery supervision.
  • The museum reserves the right to deny admission or exclude from the premises any individual(s) whose behaviours negatively impact the museum, its guests, volunteers or staff.
  • As a courtesy to visitors with life-threatening allergies, please do not bring products containing nuts into the museum.
  • The Children’s Museum cannot guarantee extended party room times. If extended time is required, please request at time of booking. (Extended party room times are subject to additional fees.)
  • Birthday party rates are subject to change without notice.
  • For best availability, we recommend booking 6 weeks in advance.
