August’s craft is a Catch the Bead Game.

Supplies:

Paper Cups

Beads

Pom-Poms

Foam Shapes

Yarn/String

Glue Sticks

Markers

Pencils

Scissors

Any other additional decorating supplies

Instructions:

1. Decorate the cup with markers, stickers, gems, pom-poms etc.
2. Using a pencil, pierce a hole in the bottom of the cup. Cut the string about 50cm in length (roughly from your wrist to your elbow) and thread it through the cup. Tie a knot on the inside of the cup.
3. Thread a bead on the other end of the string. Tie a knot to secure the bead in place.
4. PLAY!!! Simply hold the cup in your hand, toss the ball, and see how many times you can catch it in the cup.
