Way Off Broadway is a pledge-based fundraiser that allows you to showcase your passion for dance and your desire to perform - all in support of the Manitoba Children’s Museum. The best part is that NO DANCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!
Your group, made up of family, friends or colleagues, will be paired with a professional choreographer for 10 hours of dance instruction. After you’ve rehearsed and fundraised, you will perform at Pantages Playhouse Theatre in the Way Off Broadway Recital.
Celebrity Judges will evaluate for originality, technique and overall performance to determine the Way Off Broadway Dance Champions.

Are you looking to try something new, get some exercise, and have some fun? Then Way Off Broadway is for you! It’s a great way to spend time with friends and family and help raise funds for the Manitoba Children’s Museum!

How to Get Started:
- Step 1 – Spread the word! Talk to friends, family and/or co-workers about being on your dance team.
- Step 2 – Start building your team. Confirm participation of your members. Teams should consist of 5-25 people.
- Step 3 – Register your team. Captains are responsible to register your team and submit payment.
- Step 4 – Captains will receive a welcome package including pledge forms, dance choreographer’s information, fundraising tips and much more!

All first-time teams that register and pay the registration fee by Wednesday, September 15 will receive $25 off registration! Teams are required to raise a minimum of $1000 in pledges by Sunday, November 14.
