Syverson Monteyne Architecture Inc.
Winnipeg-based firm Syverson Monteyne Architecture (SMARC) has been in operation since 1994. SMARC routinely seeks clients with the courage to consider the possibilities of a building that serves their needs while at the same time, contributes to the public life of their community.
SMARC maintains close, direct contact between clients and architects through their core staff team. Easy accessibility, combined with broad design and project delivery experience and fully integrated CAD technology enables SMARC to be responsive to a client’s needs, and to deliver aesthetically pleasing projects on time and within budget.
SMARC’s working philosophy prompts them to resist the tendency to see the world only as a marketplace of commodities to be bought, sold and manipulated. They strive to be sensitized to the unique landscapes, natural preserves, and cultural communities that dot our maps. SMARC aspires to be responsible stewards of the global environment. They believe that all the things designed have to justify the right to exist, by balancing value to client and society, against cost to the planet.
