
With construction already underway behind the scenes, we unveiled our Capital Campaign construction plans for the renovation of the museum on Thursday, February 25th.
Featuring a virtual walkthrough and display exhibit of the new space, the public unveiling coincides with the official launch of our Under Construction Capital Campaign.
This $10 million campaign will raise funds to double the number of galleries from six to twelve new galleries, to construct a Welcome Centre addition, and to renovate to include a new Arts & Exhibition Centre.

Manitoba Premier Greg Selinger and Saint Boniface MP Shelly Glover announced today a joint investment totalling $5M in the Manitoba Children’s Museum’s Capital Campaign.
The Capital Campaign will result in the construction of twelve exciting new galleries, an interactive Arts and Exhibition Centre and a Welcome Centre addition to the existing Manitoba Children’s Museum facility located at The Forks.

To celebrate the joy of reading, CBC has partnered with TD Canadian Children’s Book Week to create a contest just for elementary school students!
But the deadline is fast approaching for classes to enter the CBC Presents TD Kids Bookclub.
There are some really great prizes for the winning classroom, including a visit from an author chosen by you and free passes for all the students in your class to visit the Manitoba Children’s Museum!
CBC Presents TD Kids Bookclub is an excellent way to promote reading in your school and to get your students involved in a fun and interactive way!
