With construction already underway behind the scenes, we unveiled our Capital Campaign construction plans for the renovation of the museum on Thursday, February 25th.
Featuring a virtual walkthrough and display exhibit of the new space, the public unveiling coincides with the official launch of our Under Construction Capital Campaign.
This $10 million campaign will raise funds to double the number of galleries from six to twelve new galleries, to construct a Welcome Centre addition, and to renovate to include a new Arts & Exhibition Centre.

My staff friends at the Manitoba Children’s Museum will be downtown at the TD Canada Trust Book Sale on Friday, April 9 from 10AM - 2PM.
Come to the underground concourse of the CanWest Global Building and find Amanda and the gang from TD Canada Trust in the hallway opposite the branch (located at 201 Portage Avenue).
You can find books of all kinds there – books for mom or dad, or books for you! Last time I was there, I saw some great story books and joke books. It was a lot of fun!
Book prices are $1/each for soft covers and $2/each for hard covers.
All the money raised at the TD Canada Trust Book Sale will support the literacy programs at the Manitoba Children’s Museum. This means you’ll have lots of great special events to go to that will help you become a better reader and have fun at the same time!
Don’t forget, this Friday…we’ll be there from 10AM – 2PM.
See you there!

PS. If you can’t make it to the sale but would still like to make a donation to support the literacy activities at the museum, please click the PayPal button below.
